Each work of art is Original and One-of-a-Kind. Each painting is a moment in time – a feeling, a thought, a hope, a dream; a treasure of an experience. No two people have the same experience in a work of art. When I hand the painting over to you, it becomes yours. You begin creating your own moments within it – your hopes and reams and thoughts and feelings. I begin the piece, but you are the one who completes it.

While in middle school, my daughter wrote a poem about dragons. Since then I've love the idea of describing with paint these mythic, winged creatures – their coils, shifting scales, jewel-like colors of ruby, amber, topaz, emerald, and how they might swim through the skies, slicing the clouds – you know, all those magical descriptions!

Too fun! This wasn't a type of painting I would have ever sought to create on my own, but my client loves gargoyles and so wanted a wicked representation.
I had the greatest fun designing and painting this creature. Drips and spatters, smudges of red hinting at blood, grey green in character and deliciously disagreeable – this fellow captured my heart!
